How did Saint Mary Academy help prepare you for where you are today?
Saint Mary Academy helped me prepare for where I am today by teaching me the importance of community, leadership, and the importance of a good teacher. Being a part of Michael House showed me healthy competition and gave me a smaller community within SMA where I always felt supported. Rosary club helped me learn how important it is to give back to others and always gave the reminder that God needs to be the center of everything you do. Doing every sport offered, literally every sport, taught me to be a part of a team and work together. I am still in contact with my teachers and we have created a lifelong bond.
What university do you attend? What major(s) will you be pursuing?
I am current junior at the University of Cincinnati studying marketing with minors in health/wellness and sales
What accomplishment(s) are you most proud of?
I am proud of pushing myself to get involved my freshman year. I was elected hall president, which gave me my first opportunity to take on a leadership role at the University of Cincinnati. I was also accepted into the Lindner Business Honors program, which has provided me with many opportunities to grow academically and professionally, including the opportunity to study abroad in Mexico.
Any other personal information that you would like to share with our community?
My sister also went to SMA and now goes to Cincinnati with me. Also, my mom currently teaches preschool at SMA! It has been so special to share the SMA experience with both of them and now my sister and I get to continue our college journey together at UC.
