Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten

Our JK program is designed for children who have been in a preschool environment for multiple years, are ready for an advanced Pre-Kindergarten program, and miss the August 1 birthdate, or need an extra year of social and emotional growth. The structure mirrors a Kindergarten classroom, schedule and curriculum. Students receive a developmentally appropriate curriculum in a nurturing environment that lays the foundation for a successful transition into Kindergarten. 

Saint Mary Academy currently offers two Kindergarten classrooms, each with 15-17 students, one teacher, and one instructional assistant. ​Kindergarten students learn routines ​and how to be successful students for years to come. By laying the proper foundation for a child's success, we prime them for accomplishing great academic strides for years to come.
