Book Bee (Grades 3-8) - An academic competition where students read from a selection of books and then participate in a quiz-style competition.
Boy Scouts (Grades K-8) -a premier youth development program for boys and girls focusing on character building, citizenship training, leadership, and personal fitness through outdoor adventures.
Buddy Program (PreS-1st & 6-8) - The purpose of the Buddy Program is to build community, support students in building stronger social emotional skills, and develop positive peer interactions. Older students act as role models and helpers to our younger students.
Chess Club (Grades K-8) - A group of students who come together to play and learn about chess. Whether a beginner or an experienced player, chess club offers opportunities to learn new strategies and improve your game.
Choir (Grades 3-8) - Students in 3-8th grade meet weekly to sing,prepare for church choir during school liturgies.
Crafting Emporium (Grades 2-8) - A creative space where students can learn and practice the art of crocheting while building community and sharing Christ’s love through handmade projects.
Drama (Grades 2-8) -Invites students to explore their God-given creativity and talents through the performing arts. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, members grow in confidence, collaboration, and communication while bringing stories to life.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Elementary & Middle School options) - Students participate in thisinternational organization that helps athletes unite faith and athletics, and growtheir relationship with Jesus Christ.
Girl Scouts (Grades K-8) - a leadership development organization for girls aimed at building courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. Governor’s Cup/Quick Recall (Grades 4-8) - Students compete against other schools in an academic quiz bowl competition. Questions are divided into categories such as math, science, social studies, spelling, Arts & Humanities, and language arts.
Homework Help (Grades 4-8) - Offers student support after school with assignments, organization, and time management.
Lego Club (Grades 1-3 and 4-8) - A fun, imaginative space where students come together to build, create, and explore using LEGO bricks . This club encourages teamwork, problem solving & creativity.
KYA (Grades 6-8) - A youth government program that provides hands-on experience in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of Kentucky's state government.
KUNA (Grades 6-8) -A youth government program that focuses on international issues and diplomacy. Students participate directly in simulated international diplomacy and gain a greater appreciation for the global community.
Math Lab (Grades 4-8) - Students receive math supportbefore or after school to support essential math skills.
Science Fair (8th grade) - Students identify a problem or question, develop a hypothesis, design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, develop a presentation and present findings to parents, students, and judges. Students scoring the highest have the opportunity to advance to the state Science Fair.

Soccer Shots (Preschool, JK-5th) - Build character and fundamental soccer skills while having fun!
Service Learning (Grades JK-8) - All students at SMA engage in communityservice projects,grounded in our call to love and serve others as Christ taught us.
Talent Show (All grades) - Individuals or student groups perform to showcase their talents, skills and abilities in front of the student body.
Morning News (8th grade) - Students produce & develop a daily news broadcast for all classrooms.
Mysteries in History (7th-8th grade) - Through interactive activities, students see how varied and multi-faceted the world of investigation is. Skills that students develop are helpful across academic areas as attention to detail and observation are innate and necessary skills to survive in the world.
Mission Trip (8th grade) - 8th grade students have the meaningful opportunity to serve their broader community by visiting Appalachia through Hand in Hand ministries. Students build homes for the needy and learn profound life lessons, fostering humility, gratitude, and a broader world view.
We the People (7th and 8th grade) - Students compete in the "We the People" competition at the University of Louisville. Students research issues, prepare opening statements for mock congressional hearings, and answer questions in front of a panel of judges.
