Each school year, 8th grade students are offered the opportunity to embark on a meaningful mission trip to Appalachia, Kentucky through Hand in Hand Ministries. During this trip, students spend their days serving others and putting their faith into action. While they work hard helping build homes for families in need, they also build something even greater within themselves - compassion, gratitude, and a deeper understanding of what it means to serve others.
These experiences remind us that some of the most important lessons happen outside the classroom. Listen in for a powerful recap of student reflections from this meaningful experience.
