Mary O'Kennedy

Ms. O'Kennedy has led an interesting and varied life so far. She is a graduate of both the University of Kentucky, BA 1983 & MA 1986 and the University of Louisville Rank I 1990. She continued her pursuit of learning by physically attending classes at Kentucky State University and is currently taking online courses from Harvard. Starting her teaching career in 1986, at the far Western edge in Webster county she soon moved to central Kentucky where she taught in Washington, Anderson and Jefferson county schools before coming to Saint Mary Academy.   

Ms. O'Kennedy has five adult children and nine grandchildren, one Saint Bernard and a cat.  She enjoys spending time at Disney World collecting memories and Disney pins. She is an avid reader, enjoys taking online classes and gardening. You can often find her upstairs in her sewing room creating her next new 'Ms. Frizzle' dress or whipping up something decorative. Ms. O'Kennedy enjoys traveling and looks forward to completing her bucket list of visiting all of the Disney Parks, someday visiting Hobbiton in New Zealand and staying at the Ravla Khempur in India.
