Kim Schumann

This is Ms. Schumann’s fifth year at Saint Mary Academy. This will be her twelfth year teaching. She grew up in New Albany, IN but has lived in Louisville for the past 11 years. Ms. Schumann has her undergraduate degree from Ball State University, and she has her teaching degree and Master’s from Indiana University Southeast.

Ms. Schumann enjoys spending time with her family at home, at her parent’s place on Rough River, and taking vacations to new places. She has 3 children, 1 bearded dragon, and 1 beta fish. Ms. Schumann is a huge UofL fan and loves any type of sporting event where they can cheer on her team with friends and family.

Fun Fact: Ms. Schumann was a massage therapist for 8 years before starting her career in teaching.
