Back to School Dates

Tuesday, August 5th 

• 12:00 Class lists posted to FACTS
• 2:00-4:00 Meet the Teacher Event (for both students and parents). Families can arrive anytime between the 2-4pm timeframe. This is a casual meet and greet opportunity for students to meet their teachers and organize school supplies. 1st Day School Supply kits will be available in the classrooms for those that purchased.
• 3:00 -6:00pm Parish/School Block Party - After meeting your teacher(s), families are invited to enjoy food, mingle, and meet new families in the parking lot.

Wednesday, August 6th 

• 4:30 - 5:00pm Junior Kindergarten-5th grade NEW Parents/Students Meeting (for students & parents new to SMA). Parents will meet with the principal while students meet other new SMA Monarchs and tour the building.
• 5:00 - 5:30pm Preschool -5th Grade Back to School Night (parents only - new JK-5th students are welcome to attend)

Thursday, August 7th

• 4:30 - 5:00pm 6th Grade Parents + New Middle School Students/Parent Meeting (parents & students new to SMA attend, 6th grade parents attend)
• 5:00 - 6:00 Middle School Back to School Night (parents only - new middle school students are welcome to attend)

Tuesday, August 12th

• First day of school!

*At Back to School ​Nights, teachers will present important information pertinent to their grade level. Parents will head straight to classrooms upon arrival and exit through the gym to observe various information tables from PTO, athletics, school board, parish, etc.
