We have two daughters who are currently in Kindergarten and 2nd grade at SMA. We are long term parishioners at St. Bernadette, but this is our 3rd year having our children enrolled in school at Saint Mary Academy. As parents, we cannot tell you how much it means to see our kids hop out of the car with a smile on their faces each morning, as well as skipping to the parking lot at the end of the school day. They love their teachers, their friends, and the whole community. They are challenged in the classroom, but we have always felt a sense of support/collaboration in being informed on what they are learning. We feel that the teachers and administration not only focus on academics, they truly care about the safety and overall well-being of our children. This is evidenced every day, whether it is in the smiles and waves at carpool or seeing our teachers or our priests coming to sporting events on the weekends to cheer on our kids. When each new school year starts, one of our daughter’s favorite highlights of “Meet The Teacher” night are going back to their prior classrooms to see the teachers they had the prior year. The school and people within are making lasting impacts on our children’s hearts. We are grateful to be part of this community.
